Gene was honored at the 19th Annual St. Louis Tap Festival July, 2010. Gene taught in the Festival and was honored as the featured professional in the Finale of the faculty concert. In additional to those honors, July 31st, 2010 was proclaimed by the Mayor of St. Louis as "Gene GeBauer Day."
